about

The first material to gain wider distribution beyond the original inner circle of Chapeau initiates and acolytes. Tracks 1-6 derive from the 2003 'Interior Walls' demo, the bulk of which went on to furnish a split release with Ohio sludge act Black Mayonnaise (Brise-Cul Records, 2004). Tracks 7-13 were recorded in 2004 and formed half of another split release with Texas noise outfit Rotten Piece (Lazy Squid Industries, 2005).

Track Name: Inherent Phobia
It’s in my blood, it won’t come out
Fear in my mind - lines of fear
It’s in my blood, it’s in my mind
It’s in my blood - a thousand generations
It’s in my blood
Track Name: Wasted In Heaven
When you put your arms around me
I feel like anything can happen
And when you finally get inside me
It feels like summertime

It’s like I've found religion
I never believed in anything
Take me to the….
Track Name: Dyn Skur Malma
Defend with blood
Destroy with fear
Behold revenge
Track Name: Taxation
Only rocks in the sun are real
Only sun-bleached minerals exist

No air, no rain, no time, no life
Just the ground and the sky
And the heat and the light

Nothing before
Nothing after
Nothing ever changes
Nothing ever happened
Track Name: Rattle
Rattle my bones
Rattle my bones all the way home
Open my eyes to the skies coming down on me

Rattle my bones
Conquer my soul from your high throne
Rattle me so, don’t you know I’m in ecstasy

And please
Never stop the wind from blowing, never stop the breeze
From rushing through the woods, making feather dusters out of trees
From cutting down the hills, pushing rubble through the fallen leaves
Never let me understand or bring me off my knees
